David brings a wealth of experience to Besses o’ th’ Barn, boasting a track record of over 45 years. He has conducted
and collaborated with brass bands at all levels, achieving great success in the competitive arena. Described by 4barsrest as “One of the finest Conductors outside the Championship Section”, David’s expertise is widely recognized.
Beyond his skills with a baton, David is also a seasoned adjudicator, having officiated at numerous Brass Band Contests and Choral Music Festivals across the country. Expressing his pride, David stated “I am honoured to have been approached by the Besses o’ th’ Barn Band committee to consider taking on the role of Musical Director for this renowned and historic band.
